Frequently Asked Questions

  • I'm a complete beginner. Is hot yoga right for me?

Absolutely. Most of our classes are all-levels, meaning beginners are not only welcome but also expected. We recommend starting with Original Hot Yoga, a sequence of 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a room heated to 36–38°C. You go at your own pace, and our teachers are there to guide and support you every step of the way.

What should I wear and bring to class?

Wear breathable, comfortable clothing, shorts and a light top work best. You'll need a yoga mat and a towel for the sweat (yes, you will sweat!). Don't forget a water bottle and stay well-hydrated before you arrive. If you don't have a mat or towel, both are available for rental at the studio.

    Should I eat before class?

We recommend having a light meal at least 3 hours before class. Practicing on a very full stomach in the heat is uncomfortable. If you need something closer to class time, keep it light: a piece of fruit like an apple or banana is ideal.

  • What facilities are available at Onda?

We have lockers to keep your belongings safe during class, showers, and toiletries available so you can freshen up afterwards. We encourage you to leave your phone in the locker and give yourself the gift of a fully disconnected practice.

Can I rent a mat or towel if I don't have one?

Yes! Yoga mats and towels are available for rental at the studio, so there's no reason to let missing equipment stand between you and your practice.

Why is the room so hot, and how is it heated?

The room is heated to 36–38°C using special infrared panels, which warm your muscles naturally and improve circulation, priming your body for deeper, safer stretches. The heat isn't just for the sweat; it's an essential part of the practice that accelerates results and helps prevent injury.

  • How do I book a class?
